Abstract

Violent behavior in educational institutions is something that is never ending, because this action is not something new, but has been passed down from generation to generation. We have witnessed so many cases of violence from the past until now that never end. In this article we will discuss several prevention strategies that can be carried out by providing education. This research aims to determine: (1) Types and forms of acts of violence that occur in the education unit environment (2) Factors that cause acts of violence and (3) Efforts to prevent and overcome acts of violence in the education unit environment. This research uses the library research method, namely research carried out in libraries to collect and analyze information from the library. Either in the form of books, scientific journals published periodically, historical stories, documents, and other library materials that can be used as reference sources for compiling reports on scientific research work. The results of this research explain that there are several strategies for preventing acts of violence that can be carried out by educational institutions to break the chain of acts of violence, including: There must be regulations from the ministry of education and culture, research and technology.
