Program Parenting Islami di Lembaga PIAUD Terhadap Pola Asuh Orang Tua

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Islamic parenting program at an Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD) institution and evaluate its impact on parents' parenting patterns. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection techniques. The subjects consisted of 8 parents, 2 teachers, and 1 school principal at PIAUD Smart Hafizh School Kota Batam. The findings indicate that the Islamic parenting program had a positive effect on improving parents’ understanding of Islamic-based parenting approaches. Parents began to apply softer communication styles, model religious practices, and encourage children to behave in line with Islamic values at home. However, consistent implementation remains a challenge due to time constraints, family environment, and varying levels of understanding among parents. In conclusion, the Islamic parenting program is an effective strategy to foster Islamic parenting patterns when supported by continuous mentoring and follow-up efforts.
