Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the various types of traditional play into traditional educational play in early childhood education institutions. This development model is expected to build the confidance of young children. This research used the method of development model which is conducted through two stages of testing models. The first trial is conducted in PAUD Kasih bunda which involve 10 pupils. The second trial is conducted in PAUD Bunga tanjung which involve 10 pupils. The reseach found that the effective implementation of traditional educational play model can develop the character of young children’s. This play model support integratively the whole aspect of young children’s development and build positive aspects of young children’s confidance.
